All engineers involved to design repetitive artifacts, such as prefabricated elements, normally are equipped with dedicated software for calculation, or alternatively, given the nature of some elements, have made ​​appropriate spreadsheet program using the known “excel. “Generally, the design of the items offered by the programs of calculation is not satisfactory, or the optimization of the reinforcement has generated enforcement different from those generally implemented. In case of use of spreadsheets, is not always present the graphic restitution. From these considerations, tested by myself, came up with the idea of ​​drawing with excel. Currently, was made the first application that allows the design of foundation plinths with glass for the joint of precast columns. The program, after the insertion of a few data in an appropriate spreadsheet, returns the complete design of the plinth of armor and constructional details and that shows the quantity of the materials to employ. In the near future, it is planned to build sheets of armor of prefabricated elements including the calculation of contributions.
